Tea 4 Two

Time flies when crafting. I have been getting in the grove of getting classes together. This past week, I have managed to put together several projects. My first class Tea 4 Two is finally ready. Cute mini-album to break the ice.
The Tea 4 Two mini album is a fun, botanical adventure into mixed media scrapbooking. We will learn to repurpose paper bags, learn a level 1 book binding technique and we will stretch our creative muscles designing each page.
I really love the color pallet of this paper collection. It truly is a perfect blend of soft colors. The patterns are really fun to work with. I would have to say it is one of my favorites of G45 new release. It was fun being able to tap into my stash to complete the look.
This class includes a pre-made kit that has everything we need to create this journal. There is limited seating for this class, if your interested in this upcoming class please reserve your spot at She Scrapsbooks.

Joyeusete

Lucky for me, I had a sweet 6 day weekend.  I spent that time well, creating some vintage love. I was able to play with one of my favorite paper collections. There is just something delectable when teals, browns, and creams are swirled together to create something beautiful. This fun Art Journal has so many hidden pockets for trinkets and pictures.

Joyeusete Class teach us to build this book from the bottom up. We will use a beginners binding technique, then learn to use a multitude of punches to create fun pockets and hidden compartments.

This will be the first class taught at Funky Trunk Treasures in Deland, Florida. There are 6 spaces left at the Funky Trunk Treasures April 13th from 12-4. If you would like to join us for the fun just send me an email at misty@transitionsfromwithin.com and I will reserve your seat.

Falling Leaves

Hi Friends,

Cordova has been a wonderful place to discover. I have been lucky to meet new friends, & enjoy a slower pace of life. It is a small town that holds about 2000 people but the population grows to 3000 during the summers for fishing & local canneries. When fall arrives the cannery workers & fisherman head back home. As for me, I am ready to cozy up with friends & creating new crafts & patterns for classes.
This collection of paper was given to me by The Net Loft. It is really a dreamy place to sit & craft. There is so much inspiration there. The people are warm and friendly, just the perfect place to knit or craft a while.

I call this piece Falling Leaves.
I am unsure of who this paper collection is from, the flowers are from Prima, sentiments are from Teresa Collins, buttons are from Tim Holtz.

Each banner has a toasty spot for my fall memories. Which will be added once fall has come to an end. My favorite part of this project were the hand made flower. I have yet to get a Silhouette Cameo, so handmade flowers are a must!

The hardest thing for this project was getting interesting pictures. It was the hardest! I tried taking them at my house but the lighting is less than perfect...So I went to my husband's office to use his window. The image quality turned out very nice there.

Here are a couple of my favorite pages. It helps working with my favorite color time of the year...I love fall &  fall colors are my most beloved collection. I would love to live in a place where Autumn is 5 months out of the year.

This fall is going to be a very exciting on for me. I am ready to work with new material & let my imagination enjoy some free time.

 Let your happiness grow!
